ADAM LIAW, AMBASSADOR 2024

Adam Liaw is a cook, writer and broadcaster, and this year he will be the Maitland Riverlights Ambassador.

Adam knows how Australian families eat. As a busy father of three, he understands the importance of practical, healthy eating. His approachable and family friendly recipes are enjoyed by thousands around the country.

Adam is also one of Australia’s most in demand media personalities. He hosts Adam and Poh’s Great Australian Bites (SBS), The Cook Up with Adam Liaw (SBS), Tomorrow Tonight (ABC), Who The Bloody Hell Are we? (SBS) and Good Food Kitchen (Nine). He also presents the podcast How Taste Changed the World for Audible.

He is the author of nine cookbooks, the number one recipe writer for Good Food, a weekly columnist for Sunday Life magazine, and summer columnist for The Guardian. He is also UNICEF Australia’s National Ambassador for Nutrition.

As Riverlights Ambassador, Adam will be popping up at the main event and also doing a cooking demonstration at the Global Kitchen on Saturday 12 October. He’ll also be curating the menu and hosting a ticketed dinner on Friday 11 October at Maitland Town Hall.
